Internationally famous DJ and producer Patrice Bäumel is coming straight to Festival 84 on Friday, March 16th! He’s arriving on Jahorina mountain after his most successful year yet, the culmination of many years, lots more hard work and fun. From being invited by Radio 1 to contribute to the esteemed Essential Mix series, to his Afterlife released single ‘Glutes’ being voted one of the 20 biggest tracks of the year by Billboard and described as a melodic techno weapon used by the likes of Solomun and Nicole Moudaber!
The year 2017 will be one to remember for Patrice, and a sign of things to come – fans won’t have to wait much longer for new material from this artist. Speaking of fans, he is respected by huge names like Underworld and Steve Reich, seeing how he did official remixes for them. His sound is unique – catchy, raw, loud, yet also infused with melancholy, thanks to Depeche Mode and The Cure being one of his many inspirations. All in all, Bäumel mixes his productions and DJ sets with an infectious energy and a sense of adventure, creating a sound that satisfies the mind as well as the body.
